Mustard Seed Band

Matthew 17:20
I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, "Move from here to there" and it will move.
 
The Mustard Seed Band leads worship in our contemporary service (11 A.M.). We celebrate our faith in a more modern venue.  We play a variety of contemporary and recent worship songs. The band consists of keyboard, drums, guitar, bass and singers. Of course, we would love to add other instruments as well. From time to time we play in the community. We have played at the Mint Festival (Father's Day weekend) and at the Christmas parade.

Ministries

There are a variety of opportunities at NJUMC to become involved in ministries.

If you enjoy singing you can join the choir or the Mustard Seed Band. The choir provides music in the first service (9 am) from September through May. The Mustard Seed Band leads worship in our second service (11 am).

If you like working with kids, you can help with our liturgical dance groups, Cool Christian Kids, VBS or the youth groups.

If you enjoy dance, you can join the liturgical dance group. There are groups for both kids and adults.

It is hard to believe that summer is over and we find ourselves heading into September. I don’t know about you, but my summer was pretty crazy. I’m actually glad it is over so I can head into a saner schedule.

I guess I view September as a month where things become more ‘normal’ (if there is such a thing). Vacations are over, summer trips are done and school is starting back up. For me, September is a good time to assess my time and commitments.

Welcome to our web site! We are so glad you found us. We are an United Methodist Church located in the beautiful town of North Judson, Indiana. If you are ever in the area, you are more than welcome to come and worship with us! If you are from the North Judson area, we would love to meet you! Just stop by some Sunday and join us as we journey together.

Worship Service Times

  • Traditional Service: Sunday 9 am
  • Contemporary Service: Sunday 11 am

Sunday school meets at 10 am on Sundays.
