Virtual Worship April 19th

Virtual Worship

April 19th, 2020

Welcome!

While we can not gather in person we can still worship as a faith community.   Please leave comments and join in the conversation on our Facebook page.

Greeting and Worship Through Giving

Here is the link Clyde mentioned if you want to learn more.

There is not a plate to pass, but we encourage you to make use of our online giving page or make your tithes and offerings through a different format.

Musical Worship

Lyn Altman, our congregational song leader, has provided a recording of the Doxology:

Kay Ridley, Cheryl Allen, and Amy Mosher recorded hymns for us to include in our virtual worship.  If you would like to sing along at home, the words can be found Here

Missions Moment

The stewardship teams brings us this message for the month of April:

Prayer

Prepare your heart and mind in an attitude as we approach the throne of God in prayer:

The Lord’s Prayer:  Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.  Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.  And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power and the glory forever.  Amen.

Children’s Message

We also have activities to share with you that was made available by the people at Illustrated Ministry.  For coloring sheets and more head Here

Scripture Reading

We encourage you to read this morning’s scripture.  If you do not have a bible available, then please consider reading it in one of the following translations you are most comfortable with:

John 20:24-31 (NIV)

John 20:24-31 (NRSV)

John 20:24-31 (KJV)

Benediction

It has become our tradition to hold hands at the end of the service.   Since we can not do that, I encourage you at some point today to reach out and connect with someone.

May you be willing to ask questions of God the Father

May you trust Jesus the Son to meet you where you are

Being filled with the Holy Spirit, may you follow our savior where ever he is leading you.

Live in peace.   Amen.

Thanks for your timely message. It is good to know that questioning helps us grow when we seek the truth.
